Choosing a Swimsuit
While bathing suits are usually quite skimpy, there are ways to make them work to your advantage. The trick is knowing what you want to flaunt and what needs to be covered up. Every woman’s body is different, so it’s important to make sure you find a bathing suit that’s right for your body type.
Swimsuit shopping might seem like a painful and futile exercise, but it's possible to find a suit that fits your body well and makes you feel great. Your shape––where you naturally distribute weight––determines which swimsuit will look best on you.
Body Shapes
You need balance proportions Look for support or underwire bra, moulded cups and thicker straps. Avoid ruffles on top or embellishments
You want to add curves. Look for tops with ruffles, eye catching prints and push up tops. Avoid straight across bandeaus
Support is the key. Look for underwire thicker straps and double stitched bands. Avoid string bikinis
You want to whittle your waist down. Look for dark colours, gathered fabrics that hide bulges & creates definition in waist. Try a high waisted suit

You want to give your curves support. Look for asymmetrical suits that draw the eye toward the neckline , colour blocking for suits, high waists and boxy halter tops. Avoid string bikinis or monokinis
Creating balance is the key. Look for block coloured suit, printed panels down the sides and asymmetrical neckline
Create volume. Look for frills & ruching, wear bright coloured bottoms and wear bold prints
Look for enough fabric for comfort, solid coloured bottoms and printed tops. Avoid string bikinis & high cut swimsuits for comfort
You want to fight the bulge. Look for high waisted bottoms extended above the belly button
Elongate the torso. Look for low rise bottoms & halter straps. Avoid high waisted bottoms & low support top
